I installed a clean ver of XP Pro on my Intel Dual P
machine moving up from 2K to XP. ACPI support worked
under 2K but not on XP. The APM tab is not present in
the Power Options of the Control Panel either. I know
that my machine is fully ACPI compliant from BIOS to
devices as it performed flawlessly under 2K and also with
Linux.

Anyone know how I can force an ACPI add on XP without
having to reinstall?

Compliant for windows 2000 is not, necessarily, compliant for Windows XP.
Update the bios.
