ACL and owner...... missing...

Hi everyone,
I found a folder that give me access denied with the
administrator account. When I open the properties and
browse the security sheet the ACL is completly blank. I
tried to take ownership of the folder, but when I click
the advances option the owner sheet is completly
missing!!!!, so.............. any tip?????
