User trying to access through W2K TS SP4 receives this
message:
I receive an ACK packet with the RESET flag bit set.
When I connect successfully to a terminal services
machine, the ACK comes back without the Reset flag bit
set. After the client tries three times in a row and gets
the ACK with RESET back three times in a row, I get an
error dialog saying the remote machine is not responding.
TS has the default license server parameter pointing to
the DC.

What is the error in the gui the client gets? From reading this it looks
like they are taking a network trace of trying to connect to a TS machine-
this data is encrypted and does not give much information.

However, in this case if he is seeing a reset in the packet it can point to
a network, or router type problem. Can they ping the machine with this
command:
ping -l 1472 -f <IP address>

Does the terminal server get an error in the event log when the client tries
to connect?

Thank you,
Aimme Lirette
