I'm planing to buy a computer for my small stationary office. Here in our
Country there is type of computer known as ACER POWER F1. Is anyone aware of
the performance issue of this type of computer? Can it stay for number of
years?

Acer is a fairly well known Singapore-based brand and should work fine.
The F1 comes with
- a nice fast processor and frontside bus,
- 256MB RAM; you might add another 256MB for better performance, and
- a 40GB hard drive - will that be big enough?

Use Google.com to find product reviews and more info. It's much faster
and easier than inquiring in this or any other newsgroup. With Google
you may also find many competing products which, depending on your
country's laws, may also be available to you. Also, at the Google
website, you might consider using the "Froogle" capability, which is
designed to return lists of product prices at various sources on the net.
