Not actually my problem this. A lady friend of mine has an Acer Travelmate 5720 laptop running Vista Home Premium. The Acer e mangement software appears to do two things detrimental to the running of this computer.
1 Adds up to 2 minutes to the startup time
2 Interferes with the internet connection that she is using, constantly disconnecting it. She moves around a lot for her work as a carer and if the places at which she is working do not have a broadband connection she has Vodaphone Mobile PAYG. This means constant resetting of her broadband settings.
Does anybody have any ideas on this ? Can this Acer software be safely removed without affecting the registry and/or OS?
