Should be straight forward. Format disc and install with XP CD.
What happens when you try ?

Download and burn the above and use it to wipe your hdd. Then try installing XP. Should do the trick.

U probably need to change the SATA mode in the bios.
XP doesn't natively support SATA and thus gives you a blue screen during install. It wont even get to the stage where it takes additional drivers to show the SATA
