Hello,

Using Outlook 2003 (that comes with Office 2003 Standard / Pro bundle).

Whilte migrating to new PC, I copy the data file (outlook.pst) to new PC and
set up the outlook to use this data file. No problems with it.

But unlike ealier versions of outlook I don't find the option to export /
import accounts. How can I migrat the accounts.

Also outlook 2003 has this wonderful feature of MRU contacts. In the to
field type a letter and contacts starting with the letter will pop up. Where
is this MRU you contact list stored? How can I migrate it?

Thanks in advance

Sharad

Outlook has never supported exporting accounts, except for the IMO versions
which used more of OE in them.

The MRU list is the autocomplete cache - it's a file with an .nk2 extension.
you can copy it over to the new machine or to other profiles, but need to
change the file name so it's identical to the profile name.

Thanks Diane!
(In Outlook 2000, export/import feature for accounts was available.)

That's right!
And now I remember, outlook express was necessary for that mode.
Thanks.
