Hi every one;

My only account in Win XP has no privilege to create new
user or other changes. Every time I try to do some
changes, I recive this message that I have no
administrator rights, did i lock myself by mistake? How
can i solve this problem?I can not add myself to
administrator group. I thought the only account has
admin privileges by default. will be appreciated for any
help.

Thanks,
Faram.

I would just reload xp and make sure you remember your
admin password.

Hi Faram,

You need to logon as administrator.For WinXP Pro, hit ctrl+alt+delete twice
at the Welcome screen to access the older style logon prompt where you can
type it in. For WinXP Home, you need to restart in Safe mode.

Once logged on, you can change your account status from the Control
Panel/Users applet.
