i have outlook 2003.

i use this on two different computers.
my email account on both computers is set up exactly the same way.
on one pc the account works perfectly.
however each time i try to set up the account usign the other pc the account
name and password are NEVER accepted by the incoming mail server even though
these are definetly correct and match the settings on the other pc.

this means that i continually receive the login password box and I never
receive any mail !!!!

any advise is appreciated - lynsay

the error message reads - "Task 'receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) :
'your email server rejected your login. verify your user name and password in
your account properties. Under toold click email accouns. The server
responded: ERR Login failed.'

my login username and password are correct. i have double and triple checked
and rechecked using my actual web based mail account.

thanks. if you can advise me how to fix this it would be appreciated - lynsay
