Hard drive crashed, rebuilt system (Win2k Pro) on new
drive.
However when I attempt to look at other computers via
the "Computer Near Me" in My Network Places I get an
error.
Dept (workgroup) is not accessible.
The account is not authroized to log in from this station.

It's a problem for me.

Any idea's?

Check out the policy "Access this computer from the network" .

Get there via Control panel/Administrative Tools/Local Security Policy/Local
Policies\ Use Rights Assignment

No go. Enabled for everyone - all accounts
Could this have something to do with "Master Browser"?
