This is actually a problem for my Vista machine, but I didn't see a
group for Vista. I have a reminder program that I have had for years
and it loaded just fine in the computer when I got it,but I was
fiddling around with settings and for a short time I couldn't get the
program to come up, but I did eventually get it to come up but I have
to allow the program every time I want to start it. It was a program
that ran on start up for me, and now I have to start it manually
allowing it each time. After starting up it shows me in the tray that
Windows has blocked one of my start up programs and I have to tell it
to allow it each time. I can't remember what was the early problem or
how I got it to this point, I just don't know how to get around this
Account Control problem?

Set up a news account for msnews.microsoft.com - It's a better place to get
the 2200 or so microsoft.public.* newsgroups.

Thanks I got into that newsgroup account using Thunderbird, I wish I
could get Earthlink newsgroups to work for other issues.
