I am politely pointing out that you're going about it
the wrong when while trying to reach a larger audience.
With multi-posting you create a number of separate
posts in several newsgroups. None of the respondents
in one group can see any of the replies in the other
newsgroups, hence there is duplication of effort. You
are wasting everybody's time.
With cross-posting, you post your item in several
newsgroups by placing several addresses into the
address field, separated by semicolons. Every respondent
can see every other reply, regardless of the newsgroup.
I note that you never bothered to acknowledge my
detailed reply in a different newsgroup but you certainly
sang out when you thought you were being patronised.
If you want help from strangers volunteering their time
then you might have to become a little less sensitive
and a little more appreciative. You should also familiarise
yourself with newsgroup etiquette.
