If you deleted your local copy before you ever published to the web...you're outta luck.

If you had previously Published to online web, you can Publish that copy to your local machine.

How did you delete it?
If from within FP, it is not possible unless you have it published to another location.

Thank you all for your comments and help. I've found a copy of the deleted website that I made to show a friend. Although it is only 50-60% of what I had progressed to...I am going to start again from there and consider it a lesson learned.
Thanks again,
Glenn

Good deal.

If you develop on local machine and Publish to online server you will always have a fairly recent copy.

Good luck!

:-)

Unfortunately I lost some files in one of my folders and
I suspect that I must have accidentally deleted them.
I was wondering if you could clarify your solution - how
do you publish website contents to a local machine?

Open FP, open your online web http://www.whateveryourwebsiteiscalled.com , then click on File/Publish and you wlll be prompted to Publish to whatever folder you keep your Webs in on your local machine...BUT...make sure you name it something different than your exsisting local web just for safety's sake. This way you'll have a different copy that the corrupted one.
