do you happen to know what registry key you deleted? Do you get any error messages

I know the horse is already running past the open barn door, so I probobly don't need to tell you this, but ALWAYS backup the registry before you make any changes
Also, I don't know if this works, but try system restore, however, system restore can also restore old viruses. Then, another thing you can try is to restart your computer, and as it starts to reboot, hit the F8 key repeatedly, until you get the the advanced optons menu

Also, you might want to try your Installation cd to do a repair.
