I accidentally archived some foldersand made them hidden . Is it possible to
access these files still and change them back to read only files?

Open either MyComputer or Explorer.
On the Menu bar click Tools > Folder Options...> View tab.
Scroll to "Hidden Files and Folders" and change it to "Show Hidden Files and Folders"
if not already selected.
