I need some assistance in dynamically calculating accident free days on
a powerpoint presentation that continually loops 24/7. I inserted a spread
sheet into my starting page that calculates the days "=now() -
Last_Accident_Date" where Last_Accident_Date is a constant less than or equal
to todays date. This works fine except I need to manually update this date
all the time. I tried using a macro but the only options are mouse over or on
click none of which I really want to do. What I would like to see happen is
when I enter that page it recalculates number of accident free days
dynamically. I suspect that an easy soloution exists I just have not found
it.

Thanks for any assistance

Hi,
I have accidentally see your question which is ofcourse mine too.
I have done the same issue in spread sheet and also in power point. The thing is the Accident free days both on the spread sheet and power point only when intialized.

My comment is like this
open powerPoint-->click insert-->click onject-->select create file from-->click browse-->browse dialog box appear--> select your prior created and saved Accident Free Days excel file--> select Link combo box and then click the ok button in insert dialog box-->arrange the inserted xl file for good view--> save the power point in xl file folder--> open the powerpoint--> microsoft security office pop up dialog box appears & click update links--> see the effect
if the data is not up dated, go to
click office button-->select prepare-->select edit links to file-->select the file path-->click chnage source-->select update automatic & click update now-->close the dialog box...finished

This is my view if I got your question.
good day
