Hi!
I am attemptimg to access my hotmail account via Outlook
2002 (w. SP3). I have set up the account as directed in
the instructions on KB287424, but am receiving the
following error message when Outlook attempts to connect
to the server:

"A connection to the server could not be established.
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp is now
in offline mode.

Any help you could offer would be gratefully accepted.

ok - i managed to get that message dealt with (no longer
appearing), but am now receiving the following:

Task 'Hotmail: Folder: Inbox Synchronizing headers.'
reported error (0x800CC0D) : 'The server could not be found.'

any help appreciated

are you using a router or a firewall?
