Can I access Windows Mail, Calendar, Contacts from anywhere like one does
with Gmail?

No. Windows Mail is not web-based.
If you upgrade to Windows Live Mail, you can use its
web-based options to achieve much of what you want.

Your email account provider should have a help page on their website with
the correct server names and settings.
Some even have tutorials. If they don't have one for Windows Mail, use the
one for Outlook Express.

Or, if you tell us who provides your email account, perhaps someone can
help.

If you wish to access your Live.com account via POP3...

Otherwise, download and use the newer Windows Live Mail.
