Accessing Web Help Files

I'm having trouble accessing web help files via the help menu of
various products,

eg. IE6, Outlook and any others that use the web to display their help.

I can see the menu categories but when I select one I get the following
message:

Action canceled
Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The
page might be temporarily unavailable

It does recommend several ways of rectifying this through checking my
Internet Option Connection Settings and I've checked them all and they
seem fine. I don't have any problems accessing web pages directly, only
problems with the help menus

I get a similar problem also with Norton Internet Security Software
help but a different message:
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for might have been removed or had its name
changed.

Any help would be much appreciated!!
