Accessing VB dll from C++ dll using .NET technology

I've seen articles describing this for VB6, but cannot
seem to find a solution using .NET code. I have a C++ MFC
dll from which I would like to call functions in a VB.NET
dll. The C++ dll is necessary as a bridge to the VB code.

Does anyone know of a example solution somewhere that will
help to explain what is necessary to make this work
in .NET?

Thanks for your help in advance.
