Hello,

how do you give a user or group accessto a file that is in another users
home directory? Just the one file, not anty of the folder strucure that is
above whre the file lives....and better yet none of the the "parent
folders "content should be visable..... between share permissions and
security permissions.... I am brain daed over this .

Why not put these files into a group share and use appropriate permissions
there? I think permissions on home directories are best left alone, although
you can do it - create a share within the home directory and assign
permissions there, and have the other users map a drive to it or use UNC
paths. Kinda icky.
