Accessing shared files on Win2K

I've a small p2p network with 10 WinXP home PCs (I've just
replaced older win98 machines) and a Win2K PC storing all
the files in shared folders (and backing up centrally).
When the user on a XP box tries to access a shared folder
on the 2K box they are asked for a username and password.
How can I prevent it asking? This did not happen with
win98 as the 2K box had a user set up for each of the
logged in win98 PCs.

Small children use the network and user names and
passwords are difficult.

What you had done for 98 do it for xp also. Create a user name with same
password.

Thanks for replying, but I have used the same login names
(without any password) on the XP machines, that I used on
the Win98 machines. But it asks for them to be entered on
trying to access the folder.
