I have 3 computers running winxp all connected on a LAN via a router. All 3
computers have file sharing enabled and are on the same workgroup. All 3
computers are visable in my network places but only 1of 3 files are
accessible. When trying to access the other 2 a log on screen pops up giving
you the option to only log on as "computer name/guest" and it asks for a
password. All 3 computers have the guest accts turned off and none of the
computers have any passwords. All 3 computers have the same settings yet
only 1 is accessible??? Please help.

If all of 3 computers have the same settings, I would check the permissions
in the Security of each shared folder.

That was it..... thanks. I do have another question though. When I went
into one of the computers and tried to enable sharing on a particular folder
a screen popped up saying that by default the sharing of folders was disabled
(eventhough I had the "share files" enabled in the TCP/IP properties on the
network adapter). It encouraged me to run the network wizard or choose the
option to just enable it (I chose the later). What else would the wizard do
to enable file sharing?
