Accessing older Win Media Player in XP

I'm sure I remember using the old Windows Media Player (8?) in XP for
certain older files etc, but have forgotten how to access it. Am I
remembering correctly, and you can use the older media player instead of WMP
10, and if so, how do I get to it in XP?
