Hi everyone -

I have a customer that needs to do a backup to a novell share.

the application is sybase, and it starts from a service.

under normal circumstances, the user would log on, and
leave the machine running... but last night the power went
out and the ups drained...

system restarted, but there was no login - so the service
didn't have access to the novell share....

SOOOO

is there a way, or some software that can tell novell to
connect using xyz login and password - BEFORE the
windows SCM (service control manager) starts....

or - maybe a command line that is issued to log the
user in...

or - the computer can be setup to login using a specific
user when the reboot happens???

thanks
tony
