Accessing Network Data

What sort of problems might an end user encounter if accessing network
data fails? What sort of questions do help desk technicians get about
accessing network data? What kind of questions have been asked to
technicians about accessing data on the network server which would
provide answers to common connectivity problems? I have no experience
as a desktop technician and really I don't know what questions they
are confronted with.
