Hi Guys,
just installed windowXp Pro on my friends computer, everything went ok,
install, validation and registration. Have a problem with her University
site, she can access it and follows the internal links to her area of the
site, but when she clicks the last link to start her tour nothing happens,
being a nursing student she needs to access it from home. She had windows
on the computer before and it worked, but found out it was an illegal copy
so got the genuine copy from MS and installed it. I think there must be
some kind of setting I need to enable for access to it. By the way I can
access it on my computer. Any ideas or instructions please
Regards
Bob

this is the info from the link(java?):

The bottom left first says "Click here to start your trek" then when I click
on it, it says "Shortcut to serve_home?start_homepage+START#" but nothing
happens. The bottom just always says "Internet"

Any ideas on how to solve this problem
Regards and Thanks
Bob

Why not ask the university help desk or IT people? I would hazard a guess
that whatever problem she's having would be a common one for those folks.

Those errors mean nothing to anyone who doesn't know what web page you're
even referring to.
