FP can't do any of the password-protection stuff with its discussion board,
so you will require a third party forum script. Plenty around, just search
Google.
http://www.hotscripts.com is a good start - has a variety of scripts for all
purposes, among them forums such as what you're after.
http://www.webwizguide.com has an ASP-based script (Windows).
http://www.phpbb.com is a popular one for Linux/Unix as is
www.yabb-forum.com
