Why can some people open my website and others can't?

That's almost impossible for us to answer without additional information.
For example, can you supply the URL to the web site that has this problem?
When you say people can't access it, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean
they get a DNS error and can't find your domain name or that they can find
the domain name but your pages don't show up in their browser?

I have been told by a few people that my pages will not show up in their
browser. I know that it works because I receive e-mails from people who visit
the site.
