I use XP Pro and in the past used Mouse keys to manipulate the cursor. This
has now stopped working.
When I tick all the relevant boxes in Accessibility Options then close this
window, mouse keys does not work. When I reopen the options screen all the
blocks have been cleared.
Have Googled without success. Any ideas please?

Bill

Hi Bill,

Depending on what other tweaks you have applied, save settings on exit
should work for you. See line 54 (right hand side):

Sorry Kelly, having copied the reg file onto the hard disk, double clicking
it merely opens it in Notepad and does not prompt me to Import.
Done something wrong?

That is a little unusual. As a temporary measure, you can open regedit
(Start-Run-Regedit) and use File-Import, navigate to your .reg file
and open it.

For your .reg problem...
You might try the .reg fix on Kelly's page, line 374 right-hand side
"Restore the .reg file" or
XP File Association Fixes-Doug Knox:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm
(REG file association fix)

Thanks Alan,I have never used that Import feature before so learnt something
new.
However, the Reg fix from Kelly's site did not solve my original problem of
the disappearing mousekey feature

Hi bill

Sorry about that. I really didn't look too much at the original
question and was only concerned with the .reg problem.

....Alan

p.s. Any other ideas, Sweet Kelly?
