Hi.
I been trying to find some information on how MS is going to do it regarding
runtime version off access2007..
In access 2.0 ir was a runtime version
on later versions it was a ODE (OfficeDeveloperEdition)

I'm planning to upgrade one of my access projects to 2007 version (2 get a
better UI and more) but I am not able to find information on how the runtime
issue will be solved in 2007.
Any input/links are very very welcome
thanks

Presumably the Access Developer Extensions (which include the runtime) will
be part of Visual Studio Tools for Office, just as they were for Access
2003. Historically, the run-time version has always lagged behind the
developer version by a month or more.

Appreciate if anyone have the answer to this. Using an A2007 saved as A2003,
will the runtime (vsto 2005 dev.ext) works on the saved as file.

Thanks

An answer to what? Your original question has scrolled off my news
reader.

You need to bump your newsreader up past 4 weeks, hon. The original question
was Fri, Oct 06 2006 06:19 Eastern time, so it scrolled off this morning (or
last week if you only have 3 weeks set). But you can always use a web
newsreader where you won't have this annoying problem. <g>

No, I only keep the last week in my system.

No, I'd use Groups google instead. Also an online news reader would
likely cut my productivity by 80% so I can't be bothered.

Even then I have no idea what his question is. Unless Allen Yap is
also the original poster - perove.

Not seeing the question cuts your productivity 100%, which is *much* better.
<g>

Me too. He should probably post his question in his native language. The
newsgroups are available in many different languages, not just English.

On about 0.001% of the questions. 99.999% of the posters reply within
a week. Mind you that's just a SWAG (Silly Wild *ssed Guess).

Perhaps you should try xNews, which allows you to doubleclick a
messageID in the References: header and pull that down from your
news server if it's not been downloaded already (or has been
purged).

I don't store anything, headers or bodies. I just get the new
headers and when I need an old article, I doubleclick the reference
listing for it.
