I had an Access 2002 and MSSQL2005 application which was running OK untill I
did upgrade it to Access 2007. The application is generally slower but
editing forms with design view have become extremely slow:

opening a simple form with 4 subforms using Design view takes 2minuts and 10
seconds.
Evrey click of the mouse inside the open form caused a deley of 45Seconds.

This is counter productive. It does wast me working day.

Can anyone help me out of this pain?

Try a compact/repair and/or decompile.

Worst case, import everything into a fresh database.

Here's a link for decompiling:

Have you upgraded to Access 2007 - i.e converted the mdb to an accdb - this
worked for me...
