I'm trying to run a report out of an access 2003 database. all users except 1
work fine. the one that doesn't gets the following error when she clicks on
the 'view report' radio button. Microsoft Office Access window comes up and
inside it says,
'The open report action was cancelled'. The database is on a network drive
and all access the same database. I deinstalled office2003, ran regvac, and
installed it in a totally new folder, I didn't delete the original Office
folder. All SPs and updates were performed with the same results. if it was a
broken link wouldn't it effect all users? I thought of permissions on the
local PC but it matches one that works.

Does the user have a default printer defined in Windows?

Yes. I got it working. I never gave the printer any mind since I was only
trying to open the database but since only 1 PC was giving me this problem I
chose a different printer and it worked so deleted the original printer and
reinstalled it with different drivers. all ok!!!!! THANK YOU for your help!
You pointed me in the right direction.
