Access won't Start

I had probs with a sys.mdw file and finished up re installed Xp OS &
XpOffice (2003)
Now all the office programs come up OK except for Access which just brings
up a msgbox "Please wait while Windows configures MS Office Prof.. 2003, ",
the bean counter does it's trick, msgbox goes and Nothing happens.

I have used the office repair, I have removed Office and re installed twice,
the hair is still in place thankfully but not Access, it is no where to be
seen.

Any help would be appreciated
