just recently, I started getting a hotkey message at shut down "Access violation at 00431232...read of address FF9E3CF4. Pretty sure it's a registry error but Nortons doesn't see it when I do a registry scan. I know very little about registries but know how to access it to look around....Not quite sure what I did to get this and it hasn't seemed to cause any problems other than the annoying sound that windows assigns that type of message. No blue screen ...just a short duration of the message box on the desktop just before windows shuts down. Using Windows XP Home 64 bit, Nortons Internet Security 2011 and Nortons Utilities.
