Hi all...
I can not seem to access these newsgroups with Firefox. When I get a
response to one of my posts, I click on the link to read the response, and I
invariably get a message saying the page is not available, anf I have to go
to the newsgroup manually.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks
John

It may be they are running things not allowed/doable in Firefox.
My suggestion:

Stop using the clunky web interface and find a newsreader to your liking and
subscribe. You get so many more options when using a newsreader to
post/respond/peruse newsgroups.

I was not aware that these were available as a news reader newsgroup. What is
the name of the NG server so I can add them?
Thanks
JJ

The server is msnews.microsoft.com. No username/password is required.

make sure you look up all the fantastic extensions you can install in
Thunderbird, to customize it to your liking.....you can do all sorts of
things, from calendar to inserting pre-defined text to finding message IDs
amongst others......

I use TB because... I don't know why. Maybe cuz I started with Netscape
a LONG time ago?
I left TB for a while though, as my email database got corrupted, and it
took 9 seconds to delete a simple email message.
I came back to it, but am wary about installing extensions.
Anyway, all is good!
