Access. Switched to color printer reports won't print in color.

When developing this Access system I was NOT using a color printer. I have
now moved to a color printer and my access reports will not print in color,
if I just click the printer icon. If I go to file, print and click on the
color tab and press OK it will then print in color. I am very confused. It
is probably something very simple but I just can't think of it.
