Access 2003 shuts down when I want to look at record 195. It does not tell me
about the error it simply shuts down. This happens in both the tables and the
forms for the same record.

You can create a new table that contains all the other records.

It is important not to refer to the bad record in this process.

After creating the table with all the other records, I've often had good luck
appending the bad record but leaving out any memo fields from it.

SQL Server doesn't get 'bad records'

grow some balls and stop using an obsolete database
