greetings,

we buyed several lenovo notebooks of the same type. to eas my work of
preparing them for our users, i choose to install only one system with
win xp pro and all software, and made a system image with acronis. the
first time i tried with sysprep, then without. following effect occures
on both tries:

as long as i'm logged in as administrator everything seems to work fine.
but when i'm adding a new local user or i'm trying to loggin as
domain-user (after changing hostname and registering the cloned system
in our ADS of course) i dont have any rights with them. sometimes the
iexporer.exe wont work, some other times read/write access on drives is
missing and other curious things. the strange thing on this is that all
rights are set correctly. as a work-around i tried to give
administrative rights to this new accounts. most problems where solved,
but others occure.

so my question is: did i do something terribly wrong while installing
win xp and the required software or is the image that i created broken?
on the original system everything works fine.

thanks for your help!

best regards
