How big is your hard disk, plus all attached network storage, plus all
available offline storage?

'Access' can hold about 50 million records per gigabyte, when using the Jet
storage engine.

No limit to the number. The total size of the file must be smaller than
one or two Gig depending on the version.

THat's an Access FAQ - gets asked once or twice a week here.

There is no explicit limit. A single .mdb file cannot exceed 2 GByte,
and you could have a backend database with just one table in it if you
wished.

In practice, the biggest Access table in production use of which I am
aware is over 20,000,000 rows.
