I am using a function

set fs = application.filesearch
this is giving me an error that the filesearch is not recognised

what object under references must I install to use this function.

I have 2007, but saving the access database as a 2003
Thanks

As far as I know, the FileSearch thingie is removed in the 2007 version.
For other methods, I'd suggest having a look at Douglas Steels article
http://my.advisor.com/articles.nsf/aid/16279, or perhaps Allen Brownes
article http://allenbrowne.com/ser-59.html

you cant use a database that’s from 2003 if the format is from 2007 you
should download a convert file and that's all you have to do

Have a nice day

What are you trying to say?

Access 2007 works fine with the Access 2003 file format.
