I have tried to open the Access program from my MS Office 2000, no luck. I
will receive an error message that there is no program to be found. I have
also tried to download access program from the MS website, but it won't work.
I must ask, why do these program have something listed, but when you want to
use it, it is not there.

Open up Microsoft Word. Go to Help, About Microsoft Office Word. In the next
dialog box do you see the word "Professional" in the first 2 or 3 sentences?
If not, it's 99% sure that you do NOT have Access installed as it comes with
Office Professional.

You could still have the Professional version without having Access
installed. Another method to tell for sure is to search your hard drive for
the file: msaccess.exe

One other thing....my installation of Word 2002, which is part of my Office
XP Professional installation, does not include the word "Professional" in the
screen that you indicated.
