I have a computer running XP SP2. Everytime I try to access my computer
(doubleclick ont the icon, hit the back button, open/save files from any
application, etc) it takes about 15 seconds to access the drives. The
problem is happening using any of the profiles on the computer. If I boot in
safe mode with networking, everything is fine. I ran AV and AS applications
same issue. Nothning in the event log, no conflict in hardware manager. I
have been having the issues for about a month now. Everything was fine
before. I tried uninstalling any application that were installed right
before it started bugging, ran Windows update, same result. Any help would
be appreciated. Thanks. Sebastian

It does not. It is more when I double-click the my computer icon, hit the
back button on windows explorer to acces the root. It also happens when I am
in Word for example and try to select a different folder to either save or
open a file.

Thank you.
