When i VPN in to my work or a clients site i can not access the internet on
my pc. Some VPN sites that i connect to allow me to use my Internet
connection. I dont know what is configured to allow the use of local
Internet connection. Any suggestions on how to overcome this..

Control Panel / Network and Dial-up Connections / Right-click
the VPN shortcut / Properties / Networking / Internet Protocol /
Properties / Advanced / Untick "Use the default gateway on the
remote network"
