I am trying to open an access file on my home computer from a usb drive that
my boss gave me. What program do I need to do that and how do I get that
program?

If the file ends with .MDB or .MDE, you need Microsoft Access. It comes with
Microsoft Office Professional. The "Professional" part is important as there
are other versions of Office that do not include Access. You can buy Access
alone or upgrade a current version of Office to Office Pro; however, they are
almost as expensive as just buying the entire suite.

You need Microsoft Access and that comes with Microsoft Office
Professional or as a stand alone program. You get it by buying it. There
is not free source.
