Access files on SAN through web interface (internet)

We have a W2k network using a SAN where our files reside.
Authentication is done by AD. What we would like to implement is
provide internet access (through internet explorer) to the file system
on the SAN.
What we basically want is to provide the same environment in internet
explorer we get when we log on at the office: same drives (public and
personal) and the ability to create, edit, delete etc if you are
authorized to do so. Summarizing: authenticated access to files on our
SAN through internet explorer.

How can this be accomplished?

Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Kind regards,
Pummie
