I am wondering how it is possible to write a macros that can help me
with the problem i am facing.
Currently, I have a ACCESS table containing unique field codes and
cells address of the relevant cells in a few tables located in a
separate EXCEL spreadsheet. The cells in excel table contain only the
values and not the field codes, while the fields in the ACCESS table
only contains the field codes of the excel table cells.
As there is new rows being added to the Excel tables, I need to auto-
update a ACCESS table ,after I have manually key in the new field
codes, all the new cell address of the cells in excel table. (cos when
i add the rows the older cells are now pushed down).
As for the unique field codes, I do have another excel spreadsheet
containing the field codes in the table form instead of values. But it
is rough-copied and not properly formatted with all the exact spaces
in between the tables.
If it sounds complicated, it probably is. I really hope anyone can
help me start on a elegant solution for this. Index-match method
doesnt work here as the headers of the tables are repeated and not
unique.
