There are about 2100 messages with most
recent "accessible" by arrow keys. How do I access the
early messages such as 1-500? Also less than 1/2 of screen
is available for reviewing questions / answers - rest is
MS headers, navigation bars etc. anyway to turn that
stuff off so i can get more Q&A? what i really want is
review discussion of pros cons of using subwebs rather
than file structures (other than intra net considerations).

You should use a news reader (such as Outlook Express or another news reader
if you already have one) instead of using the Web-based news.

The server to connect to is:
news://msnews.microsoft.com

And this group is:
microsoft.public.frontpage.client

You'll have better searching capabilities and a much less 'noisy' interface.
