Several remote shared drives/subdirectories all are accessible as network
places, and accept drive mapping in Explorer. But in Explorer, one mapping
then gives the "Access denied" error message when I attempt to access it.
Strangely, this remote drive IS accessible as a mapped network drive in a
Command window.
Both machines run XPPro SP2, simple file sharing and Windows Firewall are
turned off, all shares and mappings are set up the same way, peer network
works fine.
Is this a registry problem? Whatever it is, any clues how to check it and
with luck, fix it?
