I have Access reports that are time sensitive. Is there a way in access to
detect if a document was printed or not?

It would be up to you to write the code to track it. You can only
automate the tracking as far as the report having been queued to the
printer. If you want to close the loop beyond that you'll have to
provide a form to gather the information from a human.
